Today the Inspector General (IG) for the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD), who is the Special Inspector General for Operation Atlantic Resolve, including U.S. assistance to Ukraine, and the IGs for the U.S. Department of State (State) and the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) announced the launch of www.UkraineOversight.gov. This new, collaborative website focuses on the whole-of-government effort to oversee U.S. security, economic, humanitarian, and other assistance to Ukraine.  

The website brings together the completed Ukraine oversight work and reporting from the three IGs, along with the Government Accountability Office (GAO) and other members of the Ukraine Oversight Interagency Working Group, serving as a convenient, single resource for the American public and Congress. UkraineOversight.gov categorizes oversight work into three Strategic Oversight Areas: Security Assistance and Coordination, Non-security Assistance and Coordination, and Management and Operations.

The website also has links to confidential hotlines for the DoD Office of Inspector General (OIG), State OIG, USAID OIG, and the GAO for reporting allegations of waste, fraud, abuse, and mismanagement related to U.S. assistance to Ukraine.

Special IG for Operation Atlantic Resolve and DoD IG Robert P. Storch said, “I am pleased to join with my colleagues to announce the launch of this website, which will provide a convenient, one-stop shop for people to learn more about our extensive efforts across the oversight community to oversee the use of taxpayer dollars for the U.S. Ukraine response. Together with our counterparts from State and USAID OIGs, along with the GAO and our other federal partners, we have nearly 400 oversight professionals working diligently to ensure comprehensive oversight of all aspects of U.S. Government assistance.

USAID IG Paul K. Martin said, "This website highlights the continued hard work of the oversight professionals across the government who conduct oversight in complex security environments. We are hopeful that this website will show the comprehensive and sustained efforts by the Inspectors General and GAO to protect U.S. taxpayer money from waste, fraud, and abuse.”
UkraineOversight.gov also fulfills Section 1250B of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2024, which provides for the Special Inspector General for Operation Atlantic Resolve to publish its unclassified reports to Congress on a publicly available website.
