Defense Department Inspector General Robert Storch, Acting Inspector General of the State Department Diana Shaw, and Acting Deputy Inspector General for the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) Nicole Angarella testified on oversight of U.S. assistance to Ukraine in the fight against Russia. Several topics were discussed, including end-use monitoring of U.S. defense systems and military equipment in Ukraine, the deployment of humanitarian aid, the monitoring of non-security funds for foreign assistance, and operations at Embassy Kyiv. When asked about allegations of fraud with the allocations of funds to Ukraine, Ms. Angarella said of the 178 allegations USAID had received to date, there had been no findings of fraud. The House Foreign Affairs Committee convened the hearing.
