A former military “snowcat” used at the Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center in the Sierra Nevada range is prepped for donation at the DLA Disposition Services property disposal field site at Sierra Army Depot in California. The tracked vehicle’s new home is Lake County, Montana, where it will be used for rescues and backcountry communications equipment access during winter weather.
