What is Ukraineoversight.gov?

Congress has, to date, appropriated $174.2 billion in supplemental funding for the Ukraine response to more than a dozen U.S. departments and agencies. Ukraineoversight.gov is a publicly accessible, searchable website containing the latest oversight reports of U.S. Ukraine response from oversight agencies, including the Government Accountability Office (GAO), who are members of the Ukraine Oversight Interagency Working Group.
Inspectors General define oversight as audits, evaluations and investigations conducted to detect and deter fraud, waste and abuse, and to promote economy, efficiency, and effectiveness of U.S. government agencies. A copy of the Inspector General Act of 1978 is available here, and a directory of Inspectors General is available here. On December 22, 2023, President Joseph R. Biden signed the National Defense Authorization Act FY 2024, designating the Department of Defense Inspector General, the Honorable Robert P. Storch, as the Special Inspector General for Operation Atlantic Resolve, which includes the U.S. Ukraine Response.
